You want to see what all the fuss is about, check out Greenpeace Japan's Whale Love Wagon. Its purpose is to explore the truths about whaling in Japan, and confront the falsehoods - in a way that gets Japanese to listen.
The episode some people don't like confronts the fact that a few, mostly older, people do still eat whale meat. But that the vast majority of the Japanese public is simply not interested in it.
andrewd: i'm not a staunch supporter of either organization, but the tone of the sea shepherd "news release" did reminded me of this episode of the simpsons.
