I love that song "Suck my Kiss" by RHCP! I use my Shuffle strictly for working out, so I have all this dance/electronic music to PUMP ME UP! hehe

dave: what you don't know the beatles? or the band? or Johnny Cash? or Loretta Lynn?

poopee shmoopee said...

jlee: i've got tons of that too. i'm in the process of moving my whole cd collection to an external hard drive. Most of my cds are from the late 80s to the late 90s, so that explains a few of the tracks that came up.

squid: those are classics!

*LOL* Yeah shmoops, I do... though, many of the songs I've never heard of, much like squid.

My IPod has more like:
Don't Speak, No Doubt
Still Loving You, The Scorpions
Don't Tell Me You Love Me, Night Ranger
Africa, Toto
The whole first Boston Album
Dr. Heckyll and Mr. Jive, Men At Work
Here I Go Again, WhiteSnake
The whole Legend of a Band album by The Moody Blues
3 Versions of Nothing Else Matters by Metallica
The Low Spark of the High Heeled Boys, Traffic
You're Still a Young Man, Tower of Power

Weird list huh!

dave: i know most of what's on your list. and have (and do) definitely enjoy hearing it. i loves me some boston, metallica (older stuff), and no doubt. i pretty much like everything, even classical.

i don't get out to see enough live new music though, but CBC Radio 3's podcast keeps me in touch with the canadian independant music scene, which is thriving. i also scan the itunes new releases list every few weeks.

music definitely is a part of my creative process, when i work on paintings and stuff.

Maybe I'm just too bored this morning, but I have decided that it's due time for the anarchist rabbi to go on another googlebomb/shameless self-promotion rampage.

Why do I do it? Because I'm that awesome, and because I abhor everything that he stands for. He's a poser-fake-fraud-phony representing a mind-control Jewish cult, his fans are tools sucking up to the MTV-Sony evil-recording-industry mega-machine... and his music sucks!

I'm off rampaging, see ya on the flipside.

Oh yeah, and don't click here.

sholom: everybody's entitled to their opinion, though i'm don't really feel qualified to have one about matishayu, his history or his religious affiliations. all i know is that sometimes like listening to reggae and downloaded that one track last year, when i was bored.

Nice post topic, the random music on the ipod. I think I going to try it, thanks for the idea.
